Mrs. Willene Eula Rider
Age 78, of Dahlongea died Tuesday January
19, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Will Elliott and
Eula Hulsey Elliott. She was also preceded in
death by her first husband Gene Mincey; Sister;
Catherine Miller; Brothers; Jim Elliott and J.B.
Elliott.
Mrs. Rider was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega.
She was a homemaker and of the Methodist
faith.
She is survived by her husband; James Rider,
Dahlonega. Daughters and son in laws:
Claudine and Henry Armstrong, Dahlonega.
Linda and Alton Chastain, Dahlonega. Judy and
Junior Armour, Lula, Ga. Carolyn and Sandy
Wood, Dahlonega. Son and daughter in law;
Clifton Ben and Lynn Mincey, Dahlonega. Sister;
Fannie Perry, Dahlonega. Brother; Leroy Elliott,
Dahlonega. 10 grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm
Friday January 22, 2010 at St. Paul United
Methodist Church in Lumpkin county. Rev.
Randy Perry and Rev. Larry Lingerfelt will
officiate.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday,
January 21, 2010 from 12 noon til 9pm at
Banister Funeral home.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in
charge of arrangements.
