Mrs. Lula Bell Sullens, age 99,
of Dahlonega, GA, died Friday March 26,
2010.

Mrs. Sullens was a lifelong resident of
Lumpkin County. She was a member of
Antioch Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late Adam
Patterson Peck and Carrie Savannah
Gillespie Peck. She was also preceded in
death by her husband, Vernon Sullens, and a
daughter, Joanne Hughes.

Mrs. Sullens is survived by her sons, Joseph
Sullens, Fred Sullens, Odum Sullens, and
Ray Sullens, all of Dahlonega, Bobby
Sullens, Masaryktown, Florida, Billy Sullens,
Gainesville, GA, Stanley Sullens, Macon, GA;
daughters, Margaret Marie Trammell, Dorothy
Alene Lingerfelt, Jeanette Geraldine
McKinney, Pattie Lou Hester, and Betty Ruth
Mason, all of Dahlonega, GA, and Veronia
Lee Castleberry, Dawsonville, GA.  66
grandchildren, 131 great-grandchildren, 85
great-great-grandchildren, and a large
number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM
Monday March 29, 2010 at the Banister
Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev.
Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Lamar Day will
officiate.

Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist
Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral
home on Saturday March 27, 2010 from 2 PM
until 9 PM and all day on Sunday March 28,
2010 until 9 PM.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in
charge of arrangements.
