Mr. Russell Charles Transue Sr., age 78, of Cleveland, GA(Lumpkin County) died Tuesday Feb. 16, 2010 at the Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA.

Mr. Transue was a native of Bethlehem, PA who had lived in Lumpkin County since 1971. He was a retired automotive mechanic.

He was the son of the late Truman Transue and Hellen Furry Transue and was also preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia Transue; and brother, George Transue.

Mr. Transue is survived by sons and daughter-in-law; Russ and Donna Transue, Austell, GA, Bobby Transue, Darien, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mike Broda, Florida. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Transue was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
