Mrs. Tressa Lynn Howard, age 37, of Dahlonega, GA died Monday, January 11, 2010, at her residence following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Howard was born in Barrow County May 28, 1972. She had lived in Lumpkin County most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Massey.

Tressa is survived by her husband, Joseph “BoBo” Howard, Dahlonega, GA; mother, Shirl Thompson, Dahlonega, GA; daughters, Maranda Hampton, Meagan Howard, and Brittany Howard, all of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Myles Hampton, Jackson Hampton, and Alizabeth Howard; sisters, Sandra Anderson, Dahlonega, GA, Melissa Mills, Dawsonville, GA, and Arlene Reece, Dawsonville, GA; brothers, Dallas Gilbert, Dahlonega, GA, and Travis Massey, Florida; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends survive Tressa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday January 14, 2010 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega. Rev. Rex Fuller and Rev. Jason Moon will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Thursday until the time of service.
