Mr. Edward Lewis Bond, age
88, of Suches, Ga. died Saturday January 16, 2010.
Mr. Bond was the son of the
late Oscar Bond and Anna Parker Bond.
He was a native of Mississippi. Mr. Bond had lived in Suches
for the past 38 years. He was a retired engineer with Southern Bell and was a WWII navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife;
Edna Todd Bond; Suches. Daughter;
Ruth Ann Thomas; Dahlonega. Daughter and son in law; Hellen and Norman Ferrell; Newnan, Ga. Grandchildren; David, Daniel and
Timothy Thomas. Todd
and Josh Drace. Christy Bowie.
Memorial services are
scheduled for 11:00am Saturday January
23, 2010 at Harmony Church of
God in Suches. Rev. Keith Weese
will officiate.
Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches.
Banister Funeral Home of
Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
