| Mr. Terry Lee Chafin Age 52, of Dahlonega, Ga. died Wednesday February 10, 2010. Terry lived most of his life in Lumpkin county. He was employed with Sawnee EMC in Cumming, Ga. He was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Earle W. Chafin Sr. and a brother in law Danny Powell. Terry is survived by his wife; Sonja Lingerfelt Chafin, Dahlonega. Daughters; Sarah Megan Chafin and Jessica Marah Chafin both of Dahlonega. Mother; Martha Ann Chafin, Dahlonega. Sister; Debra Chafin Powell, Dahlonega. Brother and Sister in law; Winfred and Andrea Chafin, Marietta. Sister in law and Brother in law; Judy and Jacky Moss, Dahlonega. Mother in law and father in law; Ralph and Juhline Lingerfelt, Dahlonega. Funeral services for Terry are scheduled for 3Pm Sunday February 14, 2010 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dahlonega. Rev. Michael Rodgers and Rev. Bill Hutcheson will officiate. Interment will follow in Bethlehem-Jones Chapel Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday February 13, 2010 from 5pm til 9pm. Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements. |
