Mrs. Frances Walden Kirk,
age 81, Dawsonville, GA(Lumpkin
County), died Sunday. May 15, 2011,
at her residence.
Frances was born in Hall County, GA
June 12, 1929 and lived most of her
life in Lumpkin County. She lived in
Cobb County for 20 years. She was a
member of Antioch Baptist Church in
Lumpkin County.
She was the daughter of the late Lewis
Walden and Blanche Lemley Walden
and was also preceded in death by her
husband, Augustus W. Kirk; children,
Danny Lewis Kirk, Mary Hope Kirk, and
Ricky W. Kirk; great-grandson, Rafael
Isaac Rivera, sister, Virginia Walden
Rider; brother, Billy Pete Walden. She
is survived by sons, Johnny Kirk and
Timmy Kirk, both of Dawsonville;
grandchildren, Elicia Kirk Rivera and
T.J. Kirk; 5 great-grandchildren. A
number of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2
PM Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Antioch
Baptist Church.
Rev. Clifford Allen will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church
cemetery.
The family will receive friends at
Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega
on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 4 PM
until 9 PM.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega
is in charge of the arrangements.
