Willonell Grizzle, 86 years old, of Dahlonega, GA,
passed into God’s hands on Friday, January 21, 2011, at
Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended
illness.
Mrs. Grizzle was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin
County. She was the daughter of the late Lum Cain and Ella
Baliles Cain and was also preceded in death by her husband,
Dock Grizzle; sons, Gerald Grizzle, and Timothy Grizzle;
brother, Arnold Cain; and sister, Juanita Davis.
She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Ellis, Cleveland, GA,
Rita Jarrard, Demorest, GA, Kathy Mae Grizzle, North
Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law, William Grizzle,
Dahlonega, GA, Lyn and Mary Grizzle, Dahlonega, GA, Gary
and Bab Grizzle, Gainesville, GA, Ray and Melissa Grizzle,
Gainesville, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Billy and Helen
Grizzle, Trina and Troy Vandiver, Justin and Peggy Grizzle,
Dustin Walden, Shane Grizzle, Beth Duitsman, Harley
Duitsman, Renee Hill, Angela Grizzle, Crystal Grizzle, Rick
Thompson, Charles Thompson, Matthew Jarrard, Mark
Jarrard, Breanna Hall, Hannah Hall, and Matthew Grizzle;
great-grandchildren, Ashley Dockery, Jordan Dockery, Josh
Mathis, Amber Mathis, David Grizzle, Haleigh Grizzle, Danielle
Grizzle, Khloe Grizzle, Jazsmine Duitsman, Kylie Bagwell,
Grace Grizzle, Tristan Fields, Mira Grizzle; brother, R.F.
Cain, Dahlonega, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, January
23, 2011 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.
Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church
Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on
Saturday, January 22, 2011, from 3 PM until 9 PM and again
on Sunday until the time of service.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the
arrangements.
