Mr. Hayward Carl Anderson, age 72, of Dahlonega, GA,
died March 10, 2011 after a short illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. Mr.
Anderson was a poultry farmer and was a member of
Cavender Creek Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Elmer Anderson and Willie Mae
Early Anderson. He was also preceded in death by a
sister, Brenda Grizzle.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Eaton
Anderson, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters-in-law,
Brad and Cindy Anderson, Ritchie Anderson and Tina
Walden, all of Dahlonega, GA; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Tony and Susan Anderson, Dudley and
Suzanne Anderson, Melvin and Deborah Anderson, and
Donald Anderson, all of Dahlonega, GA; brother-in-laws,
Randy, Gary, and Hal Eaton,Tracy Grizzle, and Paul
Norris; sister-in-law, Shirley Eaton; grandchildren, Will
Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Kara Matter, Amy Matter,
Olivia Anderson, Angel Walden, Cole Walden, Brooklyn
Wimpy, and Jackie Gibson; great-grandchildren, Maddox
Book, Kelsey Gibson, and Carter Ingles. A number of
other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday
March 12, 2011, at Cavender Creek Baptist Church. Rev.
Stephen Adams, Rev. Lyman Caldwell, and Rev. Terry
Head will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cavender
Creek Baptist Church or to Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200,
Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in
Dahlonega from 1 PM until 3 PM and 5 PM Until 9 PM on
Friday March 11, 2011, and on Saturday, March 12, 2011
from 10AM until 1:30 PM.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the
arrangements.
