Mrs. Berbie Robinson Harkins, age 92, of Dahlonega,
GA, died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Northeast GA Medical
Center in Gainesville, GA following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Harkins lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was
retired from the Burlington Pinetree Plant in Dahlonega and was a
member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late Coleman and Nola Butler Robinson
and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Harkins;
daughter, Betty Garrett; brothers, Emory, Dock, Jay, Carl, Ed, and
Doyle Robinson; and infant sister, Katie Robinson.

Mrs. Harkins is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and
Robert Satterfield, Joan and Johnny Justus, Geraldine and C.F.
Collins; son-in-law, Frank Garrett, all of Dahlonega; grandson and
wife, Steve and Andrea Justus; granddaughter and husband, Karla
and Dan Herrick, great-grandchildren and spouses, Daniel and
Katie Justus, Laura and Clay Carroll, Tyler Barnes and John Collins
Herrick. Several nieces and nephews; special friends, Fannie Head
and Thelma Tow; and a long list of telephone buddies also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harkins are scheduled for 11 AM Monday,
August 8, 2011 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.
Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Dean Bryant, and Rev. Jerry Whitlock will
officiate.

Interment will follow in the Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in
Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in
Dahlonega on Sunday August 7, 2011 from 2 PM until 8 PM.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of the
arrangements.
