Erica Shauntay Berry, age 24, of
Murrayville, Ga. died August 11, 2011.
Erica was born in Hall County. She lived in
Dahlonega most of her life.
She was preceded in death by
grandparents, Max Nelson Shreffler, Newt
William Berry and Violet Carrie Berry. She
was a wonderful loving person and a beacon
of light to everyone. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her mother and
step-father, Elaine and Phillip Leger,
Dahlonega, Ga.; father, Leroy Berry;
Dahlonega, Ga.; sister, Shannon Leigh
Mathis, Dahlonega, Ga.; brothers, Shawn
Eric Berry and Mitchell Lee Berry, both of
Dahlonega, Ga.; grandmother, Janett
Shreffler, Dahlonega, Ga.; fiancé, Jimmy
Bradley Burton, Murrayville, Ga. Several
aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 PM
on Sunday August 14, 2011, at Banister
Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyman Caldwell
and Rev. Marty Dunkerly will officiate.
Interment will follow in Siloam Baptist Church
Cemetery in Lumpkin County.
The family will receive friends on Saturday
August 13, 2011 from 2 PM until 9 PM at
Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega.
Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in
charge of the arrangements.
